Nicole Berland

I’m a media scholar, teacher, and collage artist living in Carrboro, NC. Through a combination of analog and digital collage, my pieces attempt to tell the stories that words cannot, making sense out of senselessness and senselessness out of sense. I’m currently at work on a project entitled “Brain Space,” which seeks to visualize neuroatypical cognition. I sell prints and merchandise and have exhibited my work locally and internationally. I also especially enjoy collaborating with musicians on album art.
