Folded Poetry is a sculptural design studio by Eliza Redmann which explores geometry, light, color, and shadow through modern artwork.

Eliza is a sculptural artist, architect, and founder of Folded Poetry design studio based in Durham. She is originally from Minnesota and moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2013 to complete her Masters of Architecture at NCSU College of Design. When a car accident upended her health, personal life, and career as an architect, she was forced to reinvent herself. She utilizes her creative potential for healing by creating functional art. Her passion to create is driven by her changed experience of life after traumatic brain injury.

Folded Poetry draws upon Eliza’s architecture background and education of the design process to explore this unique combination of aesthetic and function. Folded Poetry seeks to both increase awareness of invisible disabilities and resolve the accessibility barriers which accompany them.
