Jim McQuaid

I made some films in high school then got distracted by a couple different careers. But when miniDV became available, I started making short films again. I have been making films in the Triangle since 1999 and I’ve enjoyed becoming part of the local indie film community. My personal films are concerned with basic issues of human connection. I’ve also shot films for other filmmakers and writers, which I enjoy doing. One of those films was a feature-length zombie movie! Not my personal cup of tea but fun to shoot. And for about ten years, I’ve run a screenwriters group.
